Hello! I'm Erin - your Leeds wedding photographer. I'm assuming you've landed on my 'about me' page because you'd like to get to know me a little more. Understandable, considering I could be photographing the most important day of your life! So, here's some words about me, from me:

I'm a positive, chatty and full-of-life kind of people-person - who loves weddings. 

I've been a photographer for the past 5 years now, after moving away from a career in ecology and equine training (yep, pretty different, huh?). My photography career has seen me working in a broad range of photographic genres  - but the one thing I've always loved within my work is photographing people, capturing emotions and bonds, and giving people something special to keep forever. So you can probably see how I was naturally drawn to wedding photography.

I know it's really important for you to feel a connection with your photographer, and get along with them for your big day. And that's a massive part of what I love about wedding photography. It isn't just turning up to an event and taking pictures of people. I get to know you, you get to know me, and we work together towards your vision and ideas. It's so much more personal, and I love nothing more than when I get to hand over lasting memories of someone's big day. 

You'll often see me with a smile from ear to ear as I'm shooting - because I can't help but get wrapped up in it! - but I believe getting immersed in your day helps make sure the magic, from the big moments to small ones, are captured on your day.

Although I am based in Leeds, I travel all over for weddings - as far as remote Chateau's in France. So if your wedding is far afield from Leeds, still get in touch - I will travel where I am needed.
